One of the stops on our 2021 road trip. Favourite campsite view of the whole trip.
Established 1955, only accessible by foot or horse and buggy (back then), this off-grid cottage has been the Happy Place for many generations of our family and will continue to do so for many years to come!
Love fishing with my son. We started during Covid as he could not play hockey. Now we enjoy this time together even more
The Family Farm
I was driving through the backroads looking at the scenery and saw this property
Our first family vacation since having our daughter
Behind the wheel on the water It’s a feeling a pure joy and freedom. You get to glide across water as fast or as slow as you want. It can be rough and bumpy yet then settles to a sheet of clear glass. Aww the water.
This is our home, on the lake, in Bala. I love it here and my heart fills to watch this guy enjoy our lake while relaxing on my muskoka chair on our dock! Happiness simplified
Sitting by the fire 🔥 and relaxing by the lake it is so relaxing 😌 and it’s beautiful
I have many happy memories at the cottage. I had never really taken the time to appreciate the changing of the seasons until the year we lost my Mom. She pointed out how beautiful the changing of the colours were that year. After her passing, at Thanksgiving, I have noticed them every year since. It truly is the little things and the beauty of nature that reminds you to stop and live in each moment as you never know when it will be the last.
I love going for walks and enjoying trails. I had recently discovered this trail while I was on Mat leave and I loved taking my twins here for walks. It was my 'me' time even though they were there with me (usually sleeping in the stroller!)
Morning training on a filly named Agosta.
The sweetest dog a person can ever have! Super fortunate to have Kiwi in our lives
it’s Sarasota & taken on the golf course. Our favourite place to relax, enjoy the sun & golf!
Every morning I’m greeted by lots of wet kisses from my three dogs. They love to wake us up very early because we go hiking early to avoid the heat in the summer. Hiking in the woods gives me such a relaxed feeling, I very much enjoy being in nature with the dogs I love so much.
Here's looking at you kid.
This is taken at my lakehouse, which thanks to my sons, is now a fourth generation cottage on the lake. It’s my happy place as it’s where I feel most connected to my parents and grandparents who have passed on. I feel them in the sunsets there.
31 years ago I along with my late husband visited Muskoka for the first time. I fell in love instantly as I did the first time I met him. It’s my forever home now and I am so blessed
I love love taking pictures and this one is beautiful 🤩 sun shining through the trees. How can you not smile with joy and happiness. Sun gods make me happy.
